How to know my HDD type to transfer it to another Laptop as internal HDD?

So i bought this ASUS ROG GL553VD. it has 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD (7200RPM). I also have my old asus laptop X450CC that have 500GB HDD (dunno what RPM it's running on). I think i'm gonna buy HDD Caddy to install another internal HDD and put my old one to the new one just for much more space. How do i know my old laptop X450CC HDD type and is my GL553VD capable of installing HDD caddy inside?

It's most likely it's a SATA drive. Check manuals and/or thru Device manager > Disks and Google what you find.
