how to know the battery i bought is new?

as the title says.
i bought new battery for my laptop dell xps 15.
i bought 97WH new battery. but how can i really know its new and was used only by me?
and not some battery that was used before it was sold to me?

The easiest way you could tell would be to check the contacts for obvious signs of wear, also the bottom edge for scratches.

It looks like a legitimate dell battery.
You also got a warranty.
At some point you have to trust the seller.
If it came directly from DELL, it is undoubtedly new.
