How to Launch Crysis on a 64 bit Operating System On Steam

Hello,

If you have a 64 bit system and have purchased Crysis you probably know the pain of hitting play and Crysis crashing. I am here to tell you a fix for that problem!

1. Go to this link http://dl.dropbox.com/u/71527378/Bin64.zip (I scanned it with bitdefender it is a safe file)
2. Save the File to your desktop
3. Now unzip/extract the zipped folder to your desktop
4. Now the folder you just extracted that is called Bin64 drag that into the following, Steam\steamapps\common\Crysis
5. Now you must read this carefully because this is the most important part, rename the Bin32 file to Bin32.bak
6. Now rename the Bin64 file you downloaded to Bin32

There you have it! This fixes the problem most of the time but if Crysis still crashes you can try the following. Turn off your anti-virus software while you try the game, if that stops the crashing, you need to add the game to your AV exceptions. Again not for everyone, but that should work for most people.
