How to lock a computer with a thumb drive?!?!?

I read somewhere it was possible for me to lock my newly built computer by using a flash/thumb drive. Thats sounds pretty neat. Does anyone know how I would go about doing this? Is it a program that I have to purchase or is it free somewhere? Any help is appreciated <3

Rather than bumping this thread, why not just Google "lock computer using flash drive"?

To avoid Spam I won't name any particular product. I would add that any such product is likely to be more trouble than it is worth (as encryption so often is). What happens if your flash drive is corrupted, damaged, or lost?
