[SOLVED] How to make 1 port info atleast 2

Ok so right now I have the router right next to my pc and PS4 but we are getting a new network provider and the router will be in the living room (2 floors up) me and my dad has agreed that I will have 1 Ethernet cable that will go downstairs but I need two so is there some kind of a Ethernet “hub” or switch I can buy

Yes, you add an unmanged gigabit switch in the room. Something like this -- https://www.amazon.com/Ethernet-Splitter-Optimization-Unmanaged-TL-SG105/dp/B00A128S24

Ok does it have to be unmanged and if not what is the difference, and will it slow my speeds?
Unmanaged is much cheaper and a managed switch will not provide you any benefits. A gigabit switch will not slow anything, unless all the devices plugged into it exceed the input bandwidth to the switch. You WAN speed will be the limiting factor with any gigabit switch. That is the key, get a gigabit switch.
