Hi guys, I need to make a 90 degree 4-pin molex (can't find any shops which would ship it to me in an reasonable time).

I have a regular 4-pin molex extension

I have the Phobya molex extractor kit (have been sleeving quite a lot in the past few days)

And, I also have 90 Degree Molex female and the 90 Degree Molex end cap

So, I took out the cables out of the female on the 4-pin molex extension and now I need to connect them to the 90 degree female but I have no idea how ... the 90 degree molex female housing has already pins in it, I can take those out but I have no idea how to connect the wires to these

Can you help pls?

Thank you

Solution
It's actually really simple.
1. Cut wires to length (cut the existing pins off the ends of the wires)
2. Insert the wires into the slits at the rear of the 90degree connector, the metal connector will break the cable's insulation
3. Fit cap onto rear of connector

it should be VERY easy to put on the cap - all it does is keep the metal from being exposed. use a popsicle stick to push the wires down into the metal connectors to make sure they're fully seated and that the metal cuts through the insulation to make contact with the wires. the cap is just a simple gentle "pop it on".

do the same for your SATA power cables. :)
