Hello,

I had a question about making a copy of my current Windows 8.1. I'm considering upgrading to Windows 10 before the free offer is revoked, however, should I not enjoy my experience with Windows 10, I would like the option of reverting back to 8.1.

How would I go about making a copy of my Windows 8.1 system? Perhaps there's also an option in Windows 10 for reverting back to your old operating system?

Thank you for your help. My apologies if this has already been covered in another post.

Windows 10 gives you the option of reverting back to your previous OS install for the first 30 days.

You can also make an image of your hard drive using this:

http://www.disk-image.com/

But you should use the Windows route to go back to Windows 8.1 if you chose to do so as if you do not it will lock your license key to Win 10.

You will Love Windows 10, it is FAR better than 7 or 8.1
