How to make a usb drive into a bootable

iam trying to install xp in a vista installed laptop. but iam getting an error tat hard disk not found. so i tryed to cange te sata driver option in the bios. but there s no option to cange te sata settings. at tis point how can i install xp in te laptop?

I am familiar with that problem. XP installation CD's don't have proper drivers to recognize new Vista/Win7 laptops' HDDs.
What you need to do is to find a guide on Google which will tell you how to burn a copy of Win XP disc into a blank CD with additional drivers for new laptops.
Google and you may find it.

EDIT: I didn't find that tutorial, but I found the software for adding new drivers to an XP installation package and burning it onto a CD.
