How to make a wireless network ??

Hi, I have a non-wireless router and i wanted to make a wireless network from it so i bought a tp-link access point but I couldn't use it, so I want to know how to use it ? Thanks.

Buy a wireless modem/router eg Netgear DGN3700 or any ac1750.

connect your main router to the wireless ones by connecting the lan port to the wan port of the wireless router and configure the router by navigating through your ip address and set it up the way you wanted it to be
