Itching for another vial of jet, but just can't scrape together the caps to buy it from that shady guy on the corner? Have no fear, we'll show you how to break out the skills to cook up your own batch! There are three things required in order to start making your own chems.
Step 1) Find a crafting station. These are pretty common at sanctuaries you'll get throughout the game, as well as a wide variety of other places. You can also build your own at any sanctuary you have control over, if you have the local leader skill to rank 2. I'd recommend Sanctuary, it comes with one already set up, and you'll have access to it very early in the game. If you would prefer somewhere else though, Red Rocket station, Sunshine Tidings Co-op, and Abernathy Farm all have one located on them as well.
Step 2) Find ingrediants. You'll need to gather the resources you're going to need for your preferred drug of choice. Plastics, fertilizer, brain fungus, abraxo cleaner... Toss it all in and you're sure to get some sort of mind altering chemicals out of it. Check the crafting station and highlight what it is you want to make and it will tell you the components you are going to need.
Step 3) Get some skills. The last thing you are going to need, is the skills to make them in some cases. Fury, jet fuel, overdrive, and ultra jet will all require you to take a rank in the perk 'chemist' in order to craft them. Once you have that, you can craft all of the craft-able chemicals in the game and they will last longer too.
Step 4) Craft those chems! Bring the ingredients to the crafting station, and select the chems you are looking to craft once you have access the crafting station. Then you just hit the option to craft them and voilà, a nice supply of your own home made chems.
