How to make Fevyn Ralen talk?

Hi,

I need to do a quest in Vivec, to make the invisible Caissus Oleinius
visible again. My character has found the magician who is responsible,
but there is no topic like "Cassius Oleinius" or "Invisibility spell",
that does appear in the conversation list. How do I make Ralen tell the
story about this spell, to continue?

Open the Construction Set. Open the Morrowind.esm. Click the NPC tab.
Edit Fevyn Ralen. Check Dialogue. Enter the relevant Journal entry from
the console. To save you the time here it is: Journal "EB_Invisible" 60

What he's supposed to say when you say "Cassius Olcinius" is:
"That little twit! Of course I made him invisible. Did he tell you why?
He asked me to! Came in muttering something about just wanting everyone
to leave him alone, and promised to pay me 400 septims to make him
invisible to everyone. Did I get my money, though? No! He still has a
debt to pay. So, when he came in a few weeks later begging me to remove
it, I laughed in his face...or where I assumed it was."

Do you use the TESTool to make a Merged Dialogue?

No, I didn't use or edit anything yet. But when installing the GoTY
edition, I messed up the sequence of the add-on installations of
Tribunal and Bloodmoon, and had to install them over each other again;
and maybe this is the reason why it got botched.

Thanks for the tip.

A different but equally successful approach to this problem would be an
addtopic "Cassius Olcinius"
Console command on Fevyn Ralen. The advantage of this solution is, that
you don't need to start the Construction set in order to come up with
an idea how to solve this problem.

Thanks for this tip. I tried the TES Construction Set, and had
difficulties understanding it (Seymour had forgotten to tell me that I
first have to unblock the character, save, and open again, and only
then the dialog button is active). And the tabulators on top of all the
resources windows are well hidden behind some forward-back-arrows; and
I wondered why I couldn't find the proper option...

Thanks, I didn't know about the AddTopic command. Makes it a bit easier.
