how to make LD HP 60 recycled ink cartridges work in HPc4680

Replaced color cartridge with LD brand HP60 recycled cartridge. Printed alignment and test copy page. Did alignment. worked fine, but now it won't print anything and says cartridge is improperly installed. Have tried re-installing several times. Not working.

3rd party parts are hit or miss. I've had that same brand work OK for one set, second set did not work well at all.

I found a seller on ebay has is selling unboxed but original HP cartridges for a lot cheaper than stores. Now this may be expired ink which is why he removed the boxes but maybe damaged boxes and he just bought them up and sold without them. Either way, the set I got worked perfectly.
