hi guys. i have been working for 2 days on my small mining rig. i have 3 1070 tis, 2 1070s and wanted to 4 new 2060 super. the 5 earlier gpus were working fine but i had to stop them since i needed to mount the gpus differently to accommodate the 4 new gpus.

i also decided to up my ssd from 250gb to 500gb. i did a new clean install of windows 10, downloaded the nvidia driver 436.30into the new 500GB ssd. when i tried to install the driver, it opens the files, tries to save the driver files to my computer but while preparing to install, my rig freezes. i had to restart then try to install again but it freezes again at some point during the installation.

i have tried to clean install windows (8 times); downloaded and tried to install the driver (more than 8 times) and reverted back to my previous 250gb ssd instead of the new 500bg ssd. i even tried adding just 2 2060 supers instead of 4.

i have an asus b25 mining expert motherboard
intel celeron 3930 processor
12 GB RAM (1 x 4GB and 1 x 8GB)
250GB samsung or 500GB wd SSD
1 x seasonic 1300W psu
1 x corsair 1200W psu

now it doesn't even boot to windows anymore. i need help, please! tia.

why would you get 2060s for mining wouldn’t the cheaper Vega cards be better?
