I have a 140mm air flow corsair fans. Due to its placement in my case, it will be pulling air from the direction that would disrupt proper airflow. Rotating the entire fan 180° is not an option to me because it has a very nice red trim rings infront of it, so if i rotate it entirely would put the trim rings to waste. So is there a way to reverse the rotation of my cosair af 140mm fans?

It's a three pin. I have read in some forums having the same problem as i do. When they swap the + and - wires, the fan wont even turn. Have you tried this already?

No, haven't tried it myself. But that is how you reverse the rotation of DC motors. If it doesn't work, it may be because a rectifier is in the circuit somewhere that limits current flow direction if reversed.

Either that, or they were swapping the wrong wires.

Doesn't matter, even if i have been succesfully reversed the rotation, i wont make much of an airflow because the blades aren't designed to do just that. Maybe im just gonna buy led corsair fans now
