How to make my theme the DEFAULT

I've set up a customized desktop theme ... exactly the way I want XP to
look. What I cannot find is some way to make this theme the DEFAULT, so that
when I turn my computer on, THAT is the theme that is used. This must be
something VERY simple, but I sure can't find the answer. Anybody know?

Default for you or default for everyone who gets a new account on your PC?

Once you set your desktop, unless you have done some other very strange
things or you do not administer your system completely - it should be set
for your user.

Ahhh... the ol' "should be." I'm the ONLY user for this computer, Shenan.
I've set up the theme I like, and logically it SHOULD be the theme that
kicks in, whenever I restart the system. But it isn't. After restarting,
I've gotta get back into Display Properties and re-select the theme I want
to use. Obviously, I'm missing SOMETHING........
