I want to make password on my Toshiba external hard disc drive. can any body help me please?

I personally advise against it. It requires third-party software and if this software should start misbehaving or you forget the password, you will be permanently locked out of your external drive.

I frequently see posts entitled "Help, my drive has locked me out!" or "Help, I forgot the password!" on the computer forums.
