How to make pc games work on acer laptop

I have a small screened acer laptop. I like old PC games but they wont work on the laptop because it says "the system does not support full screen mode" is there a way to fix this

Try this; right click the game exe and click properties, then there is this "target:" which indicates where the game is located like for example; "F:\MyGames\san andreas\gta_sa.exe" then add this +szx 1024 +szy 768 after .exe" Some games it may work and some may not.
