How to make Ram fit with water cooler.

My watercooler's fans are too big for my RAM profile.

My two options seem to be:

Return the Ram and try something with a smaller profile
[strike]or[/strike]
Buy a Dremel, looking at the amazon picture I could cut the one of the points off near the screw (it will fit if I cut it just up to that screw)

Any ideas?

That dremel would send metal dust flying and possibly on the circuit board, maybe under a component, could cause a problem, that's a big stretch but could. It a shame you need to mod but be careful and go for it. You obviously like the ram.

Completely forgot about all the dust that will get on to the ram itself and the heat spreaders are metal. I doubt I would be able to get all that metal off of the connections. Damn
