Win10 Update continues to want to install the Nvidia graphics driver it found, but it fails because I have the latest version already installed. So I'm constantly getting a reminder to reboot and install updates in waiting.
In Win7 I used to be able to click on the update item and choose to 'ignore'. But I can't find the option to do that with Win 10. Will someone please show me how to ignore individual updates?

Update:
My issue fixed itself! I decided to let Win Update try the driver install again, expecting it to fail again. But when it was done, there was no more "updates waiting to be installed" sitting there. I went to the installed updates page and noticed the driver update was listed as installed. I then went to the Nvidia Control Panel and verified that yes, I did indeed still have the latest driver.
So, it appears that Win will finally realize it has a better driver already installed and 'fake it' saying it installed it.
Thanks for the tips, but I don't see how either of those solves my problem. I may be a little dense, so bear with me please.
A) I don't want to have Win Update blanket-ignore all device driver updates, just the one.
B) I don't want to roll back a driver.

For the Device drivers, you can't pick and choose.

One of my main gripes with W10 - - no option to disable Windows Updates like Win7 - - - - a big no-no for me with a very limited broadband speed (usual story here in the UK - "townies" & city-dwellers get superfast BB - - but it's tough luck if you live in the backwoods.

Hopefully, by the time I'm forced to use Win10, BT will have got their finger out and we'll have fibre closer to my street instead of half a mile away.
