Question how to make windows 10 sleep directly when monitor is turned off instead of requiring 2 presses of the power button

Seems some installs require the power button be pressed once to turn on the monitor after it's shut off, and another press to sleep the pc. Any way around this to just do one press?

if your display is going dark but the system is still running then you are only entering a low power state, not going into Stand By or Sleep mode.

go to 'Control Panel \ Power Options' and choose the option on the left, "Choose what the power buttons do".
if the options you're looking for are not located here then what you're trying to achieve may not be possible with this system.
