How to make Windows 10 work after mobo and CPU upgrade?

I'm planning to buy a new motherboard and CPU, and I'm wondering if there is a way I can retain my Windows 10 installation. I know Win10 doesn't have a key and is actually connected to the PC hardware somehow. Is there a way around this? If not, will I still get a free Windows 10 upgrade if I installed my legit Windows 7 instead?

Thanks in advance and I'd appreciate any kind of advice regarding this.

Your OEM Windows 10 install is tied to your motherboard and cannot be moved to a new system (motherboard). If your current Windows 10 install is an upgrade from your previous Windows 7 install, your Windows 7 license is now defunct and cannot be used again.
