How To Manage Your Inventory In Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

You only have a limited amount of inventory space available to you, and everything from guns to the ammo to use them takes up space here. Keeping a close eye on your inventory is important so that you have the gear you are going to need to complete your mission, and still have space to pick up anything else you come across.

Step 1)Utilize the storage in your apartment.

After you have finished the first mission, you'll end up in your apartment in Prague. In the kitchen on the counter is a laptop that you can access which if you go to the smart home options you can tell it to open your wall storage. This will give you access to three different boxes, each with eight inventory slots where you can stash things and come back for them when you need them. You will tend to be visiting this apartment between most of your missions.

Step 2)Upgrade your arm prosthesis.

Spending Praxis on arm upgrades will increase the amount of inventory space you have access to, so if you'd prefer to always be overly ready for a mission and carry a lot of gear, this can be a good augment to invest in.

Step 3)Sell anything you don't see yourself ever using.

Playing a lethal combat run where you kill anyone who faces off against you? You probably don't need that tranquilizer rifle and ammo then, so find someone you can sell it off to for the extra credits. Keep in mind, on the second story of your apartment building there is an arms dealer you can buy and sell from.

Step 4)Set up your quick inventory.

When you access your normal inventory you will have the option to assign anything from the inventory to a quick slot at the bottom, so that you can just push the key associated with that item to use it in the future. Learning how to use this will be much more efficient than opening your inventory every time you need to find something.

Keep in mind, if you have a favored weapon, you can stock up on the ammo for it and just carry it rather than overloading yourself with sidearms and more ammo for them. Hopefully these tips will help keep things to a minimum so you can pick up everything you find. Keep in mind, that same arms dealer in your apartment building will also sell Praxis for credits, so making money can be important in leveling up your augs quickly!
