Discussion How to match input from two computers

Hello
I'm kinda lost hope how to match display input from two computers
I did look at settings and input thru HDMI from my EVGA SC 17 1070 gsync looks different than input from my desktop gtx 1080
How do I match it ? I did try to work around with icc profiles but it doesn't change anything.

I don't change anything on monitor so it shouldn't have any impact .I did try reset copy icc profile from laptop but it doesn't work
Any idea ?

Are those screen captures? They look identical to me (although I am viewing them on a truly crappy laptop monitor).
Try posting photographs of the screen instead of screen captures.

You'll have to buy a screen calibration tool and get them calibrated.

I do have spyder5 elite.how do I calibrate if the display has same settings ,only change is input ?I did try to load icc profile from laptop into desktop but no luck ,I did use hdmi cable from gpu to monitor on desktop no luck
like i said i didnt change any setting on moniotor all rgb sliders ,gamma etc is same as displayport input and hdmi input ,did windows update can mess up settings ?

Calibrate each input. It's also very possible Windows update reset settings.

I did check both systems has same updates up to date,so how do iu copy settings from laptop to desktop ?I did copy all profiles from laptop and sent it to desktop ,did install but nothign

Problem I see I can't connect my desktop to my laptop screen to calibrate and then mirror the settings to new monitor I want to use .when I compare websites and other images everything seems fine .can it be direct x or something ?
