how to maximize gtx 970 settings?

Okay so I just got my first PC and its a lenovo with i7 4790k 16gb ram 1tb storage it had a gtx 745 graphics card but I upgraded to the gtx 970 superclocked(had to get bigger power supply too) I downloaded all the required programs for the card and checked for drivers online games and videos look okay but not 350$ good and games looks alright but again not the best . tried playing star wars republic and people we glitch in out turning pink and when o watch YouTube videos in 1080 it does not look like 1080 any help will be great thanks

If you are having video issues in games, either the system is getting too hot, you are overclocking too much, the card is bad or the power supply is not good enough to run the card stably. YouTube videos is tough to know what is going on because there could be tons of things going on there from the fact that the videos are not HD but you are expanding them to full screen to having a slow internet connection or poor monitor settings. Combined with the i7, the 970 should be able to run just about any game at very high settings at 1080 with smooth rates.

I finally got it working for some reason she. I used the gforce program to max games it was preset to 4k but I only have 2 1080 monitors but now that it is set to 1080 it looks like god mode
