How to monitor my aging mom who has a Android Phone while I have a iPhone

She is not on our TMobile Plan but has an Android phone. In iPhone family I can find her whereabouts easily using FindMyiPhone but how to monitor a Android phone?

Have her install Find My Device (Googles version of Find My Iphone) and then you can setup your google account with her info and track her that way.
Family Circle is another app that all of you can install. I'm not sure if its free or not.
