How to mount HDD without the cage?

How can I mount a 3.5in HDD without a cage, my case has more than enough space for more as long as I don't use the included cage.

It depends on your case.
You can the 5.25" bays for HDD as well if you can get a converter

Look for something called servo tape. It's used for mounting things in RC cars. Just make sure you have enough airflow to keep your hd cool.
