Question How to mount ISO from Explorer with Damon Tools Lite 10.10?

Hello,

How do I mount an ISO from Explorer with Daemon tools lite 10.10?

It's selected as preferred program to open it, but it opens the program and I have to mount it from there.
It used to work fine before upgrading to 10.10. Win10x64.

Windows 10 can natively mount isos. Once you double click the iso, you should have noticed a new drive appear just as if you mounted it. I don't see a reason why you'd want to use daemon.

Yes but this also opens the folder.
Daemon tools just mounted the image.

Then just right-click on the ISO, "Open With -> Explorer", and voila - you have it mounted. To dismount, right-click on the (DVD) drive letter, and "Eject". You don't need anything else, Daemons or not.

It's the same as double clicking it, I just want it to mount the image and nothing else.

Right click > mount.

Right click > mount is the same as double left clicking it or open with>explorer, it mounts the image and takes the current window to the interior of the image.

After reinstalling Daemon 10.10, it works as intended, but leaves the virtual drive created in PC partition listing.

To prevent that, adjust your AutoRun settings - WIndows sees a new CD/DVD media inserted, and executed AutoRun against it.

In Settings\AutoPlay, all is disabled, Take no action.
In Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\AutoPlay everything is set to Take no action.

I don't know if it's the autoplay that is doing this, windows just enters it like a folder, even when right clicking and selecting mount.
