Hi
I am upgrading my old Dell to a new AMD based computer system. Having already tried by just plugging in the old hard drive into the new comptuer, my old XP instalation will not boot the new computer.
I'll admit that I have yet to use the Files and settings transfer wizard, but is there any better way to transfer my old settings to the new computer? I am more concerned about my applications (settings, registration, etc) than XPs settings themselves. I'd prefer not to have to reinstall every piece of software I have and try to remember how I have tweekd the toolbars in everything from Excel to Photoshop.
Thanks
Avram
