I have a game called realflight G4.5 and then an upgrade, of that game, to realight G7.5. The 7.5 needs the 4.5 to run. Both of these are installed on my old laptop (running just fine) and both games were installed form a disk, not steam. This was a few years back and I have moved houses and no longer have the disks or even the box these came in. How can I move these two games to my new PC I just built? I tried moving the files, via thumb drive, but all I get are DLL errors and other file not found errors, or product key errors and yeah.... I can't seem to make it work. Any advice?

Thanks

You should get USB,i see game has about 10gb,so you should get bigger size USB,with that, you just plug in USB and copy game folder to USB in my computer, when its done get out USB,and plug it in you new computer, you will note its in USB.Now copy it to somewhere on your pc...After its done, you can plug USB out and start game from game folder,or create shortcut on desktop :)

Without the installation files there isn't much you can do.
You need a disk or the install files and you don't have either.
Moving a game or program by just a straight copy like you did rarely works.

This is the reason people like/use steam.

I would try calling the company that made the game and explain the situation if your lucky they will just charge a nominal fee for the cost of the disk and shipping. If they are jerks about it you might be out of luck.

Thanks. Yes I called them and they asked for the serial number (which I can pull from the game when I run it on my old laptop). Once I get that to them they will just charge me a $20 fee and send me a new copy of the game.

Thanks.
