I recently bought the http://www.evga.com/products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-2766-KR and I'm wondering how to overclock it, I'm completely new to it so a thorough step by step guide would be lovely. So far I've simply changed the power to 110% via evga precision x but I'm wondering if there's ways of unlocking even more performance.
My system is a i5 3570, 16gb corsair vengeance ddr3-1600, gigabyte z77x-ud3h, in an antec 300 case

And how exactly would I do that (safely)? Bear in mind I'm completely new to this

Evga x has the options to. It should be the second slider labeled gpu core or clock. Bump it up like 50 mhz at a time and check for stability with like furmark . if it freezes up the voltage a tad.Make sure to go into settings and hit unlock voltage as well but it already should be unlocked

You honestly cant really hurt the card unless you try to max the voltage out and fry something.

Just go in small steps on the gpu care from 25-50 at a time and run furmark if it runs smooth up it more till your satisfied. If it gets choppy or crashes simply up the voltage .05 till you see its stable in tests. The lower the voltage the better since you will get less heat. Play around with it youll get the hang of it. That or find someone with the same card and look at what they are using if you want. I tend to leave the memory clock about the same as it is since it doesnt raise the performance a whole lot
