how to OC i7 4930K + ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition OC

Hello everyone, i cannot find any tutorial or video from the BIOS how to overclock this setup to 4.6-4.7GHz is there anybody that have dont that and can record a video from the BIOS how to do it and have it stable ? Thanks

My setup:
CPU: i7 4930K
MOBO: ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition LGA 2011
GPU: EVGA GTX 780 Ti SC ACX
CPU Cooling: Corsair H100i

have you tried google? there's many forum pages available to help you.

also, 4.6-4.7 might be asking a little to much from that chip.

sure 4.6-4.7 can be lil too much but i have seen 4.4 and they work fine. the problem is i havent seen any tutorial on this motherboard i tried with few tutorials and my PC just doesnt bootup after that..

google is your friend. you won't find a specific tutorial on your motherboard. also overclocks vary from chip to chip, so dont expect the same results as others have achieved.

Hi I have overclocked my 4930K to 4.7 Ghz. I'ts easy. I'm not a pro overclocker but if you go into AI Suite 3 under the TPU menu there is a setting called ratio. Activate group tuning and set the core to 4.7 Ghz. I can go to 4.7 Ghz at 4.8 Ghz it crashes. I tried this a number of times with different voltages and stuff but it kept on crashing. Also after fooling around with the CPU speed the Ethernet port could not be detected ( I don't know if this was related but happened shortly after doing this) then I had to reinstall windows again and it worked. I now keep my CPU at 4.5 Ghz and I haven't had a problem yet it runs at 34 degrees normal load and maxes out at 48 degrees under strain.
