how to oc the amd fx 6300 to 3.8ghz??

as the title says how can i oc the amd fx 6300 to 3.8~4.0 ghz with stock voltage and cooler with ga 7ml s2p also i am new to over cloacking in bios i overcloacked my old core 2 duo to 3.7 ghz with an app coming with my old mobo asrock g41c

Don't overclock with the stock cooler! You will overheat your processor. You need an after market cooler for overclocking.

I recommend you don't overclock because you need a good MOBO to overclock safely. Also, getting a better cooler is highly recommended before you do any overclocking. Once you have all that figured out. You can use this guide to overclock your CPU.

That's true, there's really no use in overclocking with this configuration. A few extra MHz is not worth the instability and shorter lifespan of the components. Unless he gets a new mobo and CPU cooler which could cost a lot, theres no use.
