How to Optimize my gaming stream?

Hello everyone, recently i've been setting up a stream through twitch.tv, and it has not been going well. Im not sure which settings to use, because the stream is very blurry and it is laggy as well. Here is my processor and network speeds, any feedback on bitrate, resolution, buffering speeds, etc. are welcome! H

Also, my graphics card is pretty old, and everything else in my rig is standerd. Will a new GPU make a big difference in streaming?

You might try changing you DNS server Your ISP provides your server and everyone else in your area they can get throttled as use increases dividing bandwidth among users, This doubled my speed Hope it helps you..

your up is faster than your down? you need to get in touch with your isp as they have it backwards... on adsl your download is normally 20%up 80%down. a faster down speed is essential for gaming as your downloading more from the server than your sending to it. streamed games are supposed to negate the need for high end hardware but you still have to have a minimum. whats your specs and what does the game require as a minimum?

Look into where the closest twitch.tv server is that you're connecting to when streaming.

A lot of people seem to fail to understand that testing your connection to a location near you (<50 mi) yields poor representation of your speed if the applicable server you're trying to stream to is well over 2000mi away from you.
