How to Optimize Wifi Calling

I have an LG G Stylo phone running Android and have had nothing but difficulty with Wifi calling. I have a netgear range extender and get about 15 Mbps after running speedtests, yet the Wifi calling is real choppy. Calls come through, but at times I cannot hear completely and phone call is choppy altogether. Anybody have this issue and know how to optimize WiFi calling?

Don't use an extender. Since the extender can only transmit or receive at one time and it has do each one twice to make a round trip, you get bad WIFI. If you have to have an additional WIFI source to improve coverage, either use ethernet cable or powerline network adapters to extend the network to the WIFI access point.

I was thinking of using the powerline adapters with wifi - would this help me with my WiFi calling issue?

It should improve things since the WIFI connect to the powerline can receive WIFI and transmit over ethernet at the same time, and vice-versa.
