How to output YPbPr/ Component video with a Radeon HD 6950?

How can I get to output YPbPr/ Component with a HD 6950?

Is it possible with just a passive dongle?

A cable with a VGA plug on one end an the three component plugs on the other end should work.

The Radeon HD6950 only has digital outputs, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.

I'm pretty sure, the DVI is a DVI-I, that carries the VGA signal.
