How to overclock a GTX 970 using MSI Afterburner?

Solution
Probably you won't be able get much out from it anymore but you might be able get achieve clock that is not possible with regular 970 due to better binned chip. In the past some people opt for pre-OCed card so they don't need to do the OC themselves. Nvidia gpu boost made that even much much more easier by 'auto overclock' for all their cards.
You only need MSI afterburner, though a torture test such as Furmark will be very useful for testing the OC stability
Just move the sliders.
Do be careful and search up a few guides fist.
Understand that any overclocking is stricly AT YOUR OWN RISK

It is pretty straight forward. Just move the slider or enter the increased value directly to the box at the right hand side of slider. Go with 25mhz increament. Then stress test using furmark or running benchmark tool like unigine heaven to check stability. I think it is safe to add around 100-150 increament. Anything above probably need much more advance tweaking. Like using modded BIOS that will guarantee your warranty being voided 😀
