How to overclock a monitor?

Hey, guys. I hope you answer the main question. I'm a huge counter strike fan, and have been devoting all my time and energy/money into the setup for it. I need to overclock my BenQ GW2450 which stands at 60hz right now. Is there anyway of overclocking it to 120hz or even close to that? I just need to upgrade my monitor and headset at this point, I don't have the time and money to buy a 120hz right now. So I am looking for alternatives to get 120hz to improve my gameplay. Please help! Any honest suggestions appreciated, no flaming.

There's no way any normal 60hz will get to 120. And there's no telling how far you can go even on the same monitor model. Maybe 70 if you are lucky. Some can't even oc at all. It may seem fine but when you test for frameskipping it fails.

A 120 Hz display won't improve your game play or make you a better player. Clarity and more smooth, sure- better player? No. Like k1114 says, there really is no guarantee it'll work, and you can even permanently damage your monitor which you'll end up buying a new one anyways, is it worth the risk? That's up to you.
