how to overclock an i5 6500 with msi z170a gaming pro carbon

so I swapped out my 6600k for a 6500 plus cash because I know I can also OC the i5 6500 so now as I download and update the bios and configure everything to OC the bclk and now after I reboot it nothings happen and now it stock on 3.2GHz.

core i5 6500
G.skill ripjaws 5 16gb
Galax gtx 970 HOF
Seasonice m12II evo edition 620watts

Where are you monitoring your CPU? Task manager and windows can't tell when you OC.
Only a program like CPUz or HW monitor will show it.

I've tried cpu-z its bus speed stacks @ 99.90 or 100

136 with for 4.3GHz oc but it doesnt oced

my bios will let me go to 102-103'ish but after that it reverts.

Try 106. Just to see if it sticks. 136 is quite ambitious.
