How to overclock Core2 quad Q8200

Hi guys, I want to overclock my Core 2 Quad Q8200 so I wanted to seek advice from you guys since Iam new to overclocking. Currently using it in stock setting.

I have changed my PSU from stock 300W to 500W and using Ati 5770 in place of the integrated one.

If your core voltage is set to 2.144 volt, it is too high. Intel's max recommended voltage is 1.45 volts.

Thanks for the reply. For the voltage I have not changed any of the settings, all of them are factory settings. I cannot change the settings either because Iam not able to find the core voltage and FSB settings in my BIOS. Could they be locked?
