How to overclock cpu on old motherboard?

I have g41m combo and intel pdc e5300 and 4gb ram and integrated gpu.how do i overclock my cpu to play games from 2 or 3years ago at at least 20fps?

Overclocking won't perform miracles. Those specs would have struggled in games when those parts were new a decade ago.

What is your budget. Is you OS 32 bit or 64 bit? An E7500 with the FSB bumped to 1333 is a classic 2 core overclock. Some sort of discrete GPU.
GT1030, or GTX750 would be nice. GT730 64 bit 1GB DDR5 with 720P TV for a monitor would probably be the minimum.
