How to overclock my a8 - 5500 but i also have an nvidia gpu

I realize i won't get that much of a boost but i still want to try.

I have an ASUS CM175 with an AMD A8-5500 running at 3.2GHz. I've heard that the A8-5500 can be overclocked to 3.7GHz.

I also have a GTX 1050 and can't really find and answer on how to overclock my cpu while having an nvidia card

Overclocking your CPU has nothing to do with your graphics card

GPU and CPU are sepparate components, It doesn't matter which company makes them and OCing a cpu does not depend on the gpu you have. Ocing your cpu can only be done with bclk OCing which is more tricky than an unlocked cpu. In your place, I would save for a new cpu+motherboard+ram (a i5 7500 or an upcoming Ryzen R5 cpu - go with the Ryzen or unlocked i5 if you intend to OC).
