Hello,
I would like to run my CPU at 4.5 Ghz. And I don't know how to do it. Please, can you help me to do it?
First let me tell you my pc configuration if you need to know it.
I have a Gigabyte X99 Ultra Gaming motherboard, I7-6900K, cooler Corsair Hydro H115i, Corsair Domino Platinum 128GB Ram at 3466 Mhz, 2 graphic cards Aorus Gtx 1080ti waterforce extreme edition 11GB, power supply Thermaltake modular 1475W and 3 Samsung SSD of total 5 TB (2+2+1 TB).
As I said I would like to run my CPU at 4.5 Ghz and I don't know how to do it.
Please, can you help? Thank you.

The links you sent me are very helpful. Thank you.
I tried to follow the second link in making the overclock but on my motherboard happens strage things..
I couldn't change the "Ratio". On my motherboard it's not working changing the Ratio that is set at 32 to change it to 40 for example..it's blocked. I click on it and nothing happens.
I just give up..
Thank you very much.

That's right sir. It didn't boot when I set it at 4.6. The same at 4.5. At 4.3 went well.
But when I set it at 4.4 it booted but just before the windows open it came a blue screen that said my pc ran into a problem a needs to restart. And restarted again and again ran into problem and then restarted again and again..

I want to upgrade my pc pc from I7-6900K and GA X99 Ultra Gaming to I9 7980XE and Aorus X299 Gaming 9.
It will take meva little time because it cost me 2500 Euro this upgrade. And I already made an unpgrade last week from my last 2 GPU Sapphire R9 295x2 to 2 aorus gtx1080ti waterforce extreme edition 11gb. Un upgrade that costed me 2100 Euro. In fact the same price was for the 2 R9 295x2 three years ago when I bought them..

I have 2 reasons why I want to take that CPU and give up to my I7-6900K that I bought it together with the motherboard just one year ago.
First reason is because I want highest score in benchmark (Firestrike)
And second reason is because I play Flight Simulator X that is very hungry for CPU..as far as I read on internet. I made a huge investition on that game, over 10.000 euro buying all airport and scenarios and when I install everything it has about 4.5 TB. Therefore I bought 3 Samsung SSD of 5 TB totally that costed me 2000 euro two years ago..
When I made the upgrade from I7 4790K to I7-6900K I had a big diference in my FSX. And I believe that changing my I7-6900K with I9 7980XE it will make also a difference..
Besides that I run my system now with the 2 cards gtx1080ti waterforce extreme edition 11gb and 128Gb of Ram at 3466mhz (Corsair donino platinum) that is all I need..I think..
I think that I9 will help me more in my fsx...I9 7980XE...

Yeah, that's a very nice system. Really nice! Enjoy of it.
I have wished my CPU I7-6900K to run at 4.7 Ghz as yours does!
I don't have a video of my PC...but everything is in a huge huge case!
Thank you very much for your support.
