How to overclock my i7 4770k?

Hello, i need some help overclocking my i7 4770k. I bought it for $400 in January and i would like to over clock it now to have better performance.
I have a MSI Z87-GD65 GAMING MOTHERBOARD and it comes with OC GENIE.
Should i click OC Genie to over clock my CPU?
Thanks, i know nothing about over clocking so i will need your help.

I am going to turn off my OC Genie now, since i know nothing about overclocking and am afraid it may damage my CPU, i also have the default intel cooler, and i don't know what temperature is good or bad.

The i7 4770k - http://ark.intel.com/products/75123/Intel-Core-i7-4770K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-3_90-GHz - will turbo to 3.9GHz anyway.

Per http://www.overclockers.com/3step-guide-to-overclock-intel-haswell you should be able to get to 4.6GHz

You need a good cpu cooler though; not just the stock one.

Yeah it does have a multiplier of 39, no point using OC genie than if i only get 4000 mhz core. Can you please help me with overclocking it to 4.6ghz?
