I see no option in the BIOS or the Turbo Boost tool, they call this a gaming laptop with a 2.6 GHz CPU. On the Intel website listing the specifications/details of the CPU, it clearly says it's overclock-able upwards to 3.5 GHz and some report going higher, so I ask, how? (Using Windows 10)

Specifications:

Brand: Lenovo

Type: Laptop

Use: Gaming

Model: Y700

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700HQ 2.6 GHz (Max Turbo Frequency of 3.50 GHz)

GPU: NVIDIA 960M (Core Overclocked to Max [135 MHz+] and Memory Overclocked 303 MHz+)

Memory: DDR4 8 GB (7.86 GB usable)

System Type: 64-bit Operating System and a x64 based processor

Operating System - Windows 10 Home

Storage: 884 GB 5400RPM HDD (27.6 GB free) and 24.9 GB SSD (2.94 GB free)

Your 6700HQ simply can't be overclocked. The maximum speed will be 3.5GHz on a single core max. You can probably expect a maximum boost of 3.3GHz on all cores if their all under a heavy load.
