how to overclock my cpu ?
ASUS P5KPL/EPU
Pentium Dual Core E5700 3.00Ghz
my ram is 2GB DDR2 800MHz

First of all an E5700 is not a really good cpu to overclock. But, you need to set up everything manual in the bios when you overclock.

Do yourself a little research. Google your motherboard and read the instructions on how to overclock. Generally, take the speed up by small increments without raising the voltage. Leave the clock and voltage of the ram alone. When you get your cpu clocked too high your pc will simply not start. Then go back to a slightly lesser clock speed. Then you can try raising the voltage by the smallest increments. ALWAYS MONITOR THE TEMP OF THE CPU when you do this, especially raising the voltage.

I personally would not overclock that CPU, it's older and the CPU may not be able to handle such voltage changes. That's why newer CPU's are usually overclocked more.

Good choice, if you ever get a newer CPU like an FX or i7 make sure to come back! Those CPU's are built and tested for even the newest PC builders to easily overclock it. Some are even overclocked IN THE FACTORY before they get shipped!!! Good luck man! Hope you upgrade soon! lol
