How to overclock ram when you try using xmp?

i have a 2400g that is paired with corsair vengence 3200. However, i can only get it to run at 2134 speed. How can i get it to run at 3200 without voiding any warrentys. I also dont know how to over clock so am nervous going into bios.

Hit F2 when computer boots to access your motherboard Bios, under the second tab : OC Tweaker scroll down to memory configuration and in that paragraph there are plenty of setting among which there is load XMP profile button then choose desired profile/ frequency, save and exit.
I would make sure I have the latest Bios iteration installed for better hardware compatibility (latest version 4.70 available here >> https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M%20Pro4/index.asp#BIOS)

I have the latest bios update, and whenever i use the desiered speed(in this case 3200) it defaults to 2134.

Try setting memory voltage on auto or increasing memory voltage by small increments like 0.10 or 0.05 V and make sure Save settings before exiting the Bios, I would also insure CPU voltage an d frequency settings on auto (enables CPU to adjust to memory overclock = XMP).

None of that worked either. It is still running at 2134 speed. I really dont want to mess with cpu voltages nor do i really like moving the rams voltage around a whole ton. I really dont want to void warrentys or break the system.

I didnt touch anything with cpu. I select xmp with the speed i want. I can get it to run to 2400 speed. But thats it. I changed xmp to auto, now everything is set to auto. It still runs at 2134.

Just tried using the ryzen master, that did nothing. I dont really know what im doing when it comes to overclocking ram. How do i figure out what the setting should be in ryzen master to get to 3200. I managed to get it to 2666.

Since your memory is not responding well to XMP overclock profile on the AMD platform, it might either need some tenacious tweaking of timings and voltages or might not be able to achieve the 3200 MHz due to it's ICs build, what brand and model is your memory?

The exact thing is Corsair vengence lpx 8 gb (2x4 gb) rated at 3200 speed. Memory Model CMK8GX4M2B3200C16, Timings 16-18-18-36, cash latency is 16 voltage is set to 1.35. I honestly dont think i will overclock it. I tried to do 2933 speed, the computer had to do repairs and i couldnt boot into the computer for a little bit. That scared the living light out of me. Btw, this is my first pc so im new to the whole thing.
