How to Overclock RAM?

Can I just up the frequency multiplier from 30 to 31 if I wanted to go from 3000 to 3100MHz, or is it more complicated than that?



I have Corsair Vengeance RGB DIMMs (Prescreened ICs, said to be good overclockers)

I believe JayZTwoCents has a video on how to overclock ram so you could check that out but you can just go into your bios and you should have some preset options on different frequencies.
