Sorry for the amateur question, but i know there's alot of variants for the GTX 1060. Specifically I'm looking at the MSI line, and noticed there's GAMING, ARMOR, and there's those that end with OC, OCV1. Are there any actual performance differences for the higher price? What do those OC, OCV1 actually mean? Is this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/HN648d/msi-geforce-gtx-1060-6gb-gaming-x-video-card-geforce-gtx-1060-6gt-oc good enough already (as it is the cheapest one)? Appreciate all advice!

none worth considering, only things that really matter are warranty and if the cooler it has is good

that card is perfectly fine

OC = overclocked = it has been made to run faster by increasing it's core clocks

yes there is a...

yes there is a performance increase, but paying for it is not worth it when you can do this yourself if you want, when the card has a good cooler

usually if you read some recommendations when people ask about cards, there are always the same ones that come up a lot

like the strix, amp!, G1, and jetstream

look at the cards, and it will become obvious why XD

well, if I wanted it to be as low priced as possible that msi armor or this gigabyte model:

I would lean more towards the gigabyte because it has more monitor connectors, and the cooler seems to be better

it needs a 8-pin pcie cable though so be aware of that

i favor the 3gb version of the 1060 over the 6gb version. the 6gb version costs 20% more but only provides 10% more performance. this is almost always the case as you move up the gpu performance ladder though. but i feel for 1080p@60hz the 3gb 1060 to provide more than adequate performance in modern games.
