I have purchased a new 4U Rosewill RSV-L4412 server case. I want to install a 4 post rack and install the server but I am not sure what mounting hardware I will need. Everything I can find says it is for 1U servers. Is there a resource someplace that describes the best practices for doing this? As long as I can pull the server out to do maintenance, I don't really care if it is on sliders since I will have to fully remove the box to service it. In the future I will also be adding a second server and networking switch and patch panel and a keyboard tray and a monitor.
Thanks

Solution
Rosewill has slide mount rails that could be used. I would send an e-mail to their support to validate that those rails and chassis are compatible. Other options are "L" bracket rails or a shelf as described in this thread. I expected there to be a link in the user's manual for that chassis with the part number of the correct rails. There is not.
