Hello
I was asking if its possible to play normal 2.0 files in 5.1 mode and I figured you can do this on VLC:
on VLC press CTRL + P, bottom left corner press Show settings -> All, go to Audio tab, Force detection of Dolby sound -> On, Stereo audio output mode: Dolby surround, Save and restart VLC
